Autumn in Zion National Park — 2009
Against the backdrop of a perfect, deep blue sky, I stood in awe at Zion’s beauty. I literally found the colors and the monumental, cathedral walls overwhelming and realized I need only stand in one place to take a lifetime of photos (857 to be exact).
Blessed to be there with the fall colors that seemed to transform themselves before my eyes, I know the memory of those glowing, ancient walls will remain with me forever.
As Ray Ketchum wrote prior to my departure: “Zion is the best of all...colors so rich your teeth hurt.”
This series will no doubt continue to be updated as I process my many images; check back for new ones. |
