It's always exciting to find new spots in familiar places.
And so it was on this cold, damp winter day in Gualala Point Regional Park.
Years have been spent hiking this area, so you can imagine my delight when I followed
a new trail leading down into a mossy sanctuary that was filled with knobby,
wild, limbs. As the branches were entwined, so were my senses as the
sweet smell of the earth mingled with the surrounding silence.
It was definitely a place to soothe the soul.
